The
Famara inlet, flanked by the spectacular cliff bearing
the same name, is a fabulous area for sports activities
primarily surfing or paragliding. In this protected
natural zone, you will find a quiet fishing village
with several restaurants, supermarket and surf shops.
In
general, the wild beauty and expanse of this corner
of the island create a lasting impression on all who
visitor. However, it's advisable not to venture too
far from shore since the eddies caused by the strong
undercurrents can be dangerous, even to the most experienced
swimmers.
